Meeting Marloes and Sebastien in Cape Town, two Dutchies like myself, was the perfect example of the above. Everything fell into place. We hiked up Chapman’s Peak on a beautiful summer day in Cape Town.
It took us about 2,5 hours to get to the top. As we were standing next to the beacon of the summit, we were spoiled with the most marvellous views of Hout Bay and Noordhoek Beach.
Table Mountain’s unmistakable flat surface photobombed the background like only Table Mountain can.
Up there, Marloes and Sebastien declared their love to each other and danced until long after the sun had set. I will never forget the look on his face, as he turned around to see her in her dress. His wonder-woman.
